A Success for My Israel in the Struggle against BDS Financing

We managed to stop a huge discount for BDS organizations and those who boycott Israel. Upon receiving information, My Israel operated on social networks, engaging many activists, and succeeded in influencing the members of the Knesset Finance Committee to stop fuel tax rebates for BDS organizations. The rebates were intended only for UN organizations, but under this umbrella, we discovered another eight organizations, some very hostile to Israel, worked their way onto the list. All this took place under the nose of Israel’s legislature. In close cooperation with MKs Ketty Shitrit and Betzalel Smutrich we were able to put a stop to this madness, and in further discussion, to put the necessary obstacles in place that will prevent such aberrations from occurring in the future.
