Preserving Heritage Sites
In Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley there are about 10,000 recognized heritage sites spread throughout the area. Approximately 500 are important national heritage sites, a few dozen of which are in the area slated for future sovereignty application according to the Trump map outline, with the remainder in the area planned to be Palestinian territory. The major heritage sites make up 5% of the sites in Judea and Samaria, with only about 1% being left under Israeli sovereignty if the Trump plan is implemented as is. From a quick look at the plan and the attendant maps, it appears to ignore the important Jewish heritage that previous generations left our people, and indeed all of humanity. We call on the leadership to show historical responsibility. Responsibility for Israel's heritage, it is our responsibility for generations to come. Any future plan must not abandon the lifeblood connection to our heritage.
