A holiday to build bonds - around a thousand mishloach manot from the residents of Judea/Samaria to the evacuees
During the holiday of Purim, dozens of communities from all over Judea and Samaria opened their hearts and connected with evacuee communities and gave them mishloach manot. The connections were made through the "One Community" center of the Yesha Council.
The residents of Barkan, Leshem, Yakir, Nofi Nachemia, Bruchin, Ali Zahav, Kfar Tapuah and Itamar together prepared over 500 mishloach manot to evacuees from the north and south. The residents of Kfar Adumim, Ofra, and Gitit prepared hundreds of mishloah manot for the residents of Kiryat Shmona. The residents of Beit El prepared over a hundred packages for the residents of Kissufim who are currently based in the Dead Sea area, and the residents of Tane Omarim traveled to Be'er Sheva to distribute mishloach manot to the evacuated Nirim community. Beyond the physical delivery of the packages, the initiative symbolized the deep bond and connection between all Judea and Samaria residents and our brothers and sisters who were evacuated from the south and the north.
