A celebration of Israel in Manhattan!

Last week, a public diplomacy delegation representing the Yesha Council
traveled to Manhattan led by Gush Etzion Regional Council Mayor, and Chairman
of the Yesha Council, Shlomo Ne'eman. Also
present were Yesha Council CEO Shira Livman, Yesha Council Director of International
Relations, Yigal Dilmoni, who also serves a board member of the American
Friends of Judea and Samaria (AFJS) organization, along with Yesha Council
Spokeswoman Dorit Shechter.
The delegation represented Judea and Samaria at the annual
"Celebrate Israel Parade" in Manhattan along with 40,000 other
pro-Israel supporters.
Shlomo Ne'eman marched in the parade together with Israeli government
ministers, and heads of major organizations, as part of the official Israeli
delegation to the parade.
We were happy to meet and chat with thousands of Jewish friends and
supporters of Israel, who came from all over the United States, and connect
them to the story of Judea and Samaria.
Following the parade, we participated in the annual Besheva "Jerusalem
Conference," also in Manhattan, where we introduced the participants to a
new educational initiative aimed at sharing the truth about Judea and Samaria.
Both Shlomo Ne'eman and Yigal Dilmoni were given the opportunity to speak on
stage and address the conference participants.
A day earlier, on Shabbat, the delegation spent time at several
different Jewish communities in the NYC area, speaking at synagogues and
private homes with the goal of raising awareness, and creating unity and
continued support for the development of Jewish life in Judea, Samaria, and the
Jordan Valley.
