The Ministries of Health and Finance agreed to Magen David Adom's (MDA) request for a "temporary" reinforcement of the ambulance response in the Judea, Samaria and Jordan Valley areas, mainly due to the additional workload created by the corona crisis. This reinforcement complies with the conclusions of a committee whose participants include Yesha Council, the Ministry of Health, MDA and the IDF. The committee looked into the subject and recommended increasing the number of ambulances and emergency dispatch stations in the area. This joins the continuous and life-saving activities carried out by the Rescuers Without Borders organization (SSF) in Judea and Samaria, and further expands the activity of white ambulances and ICU mobile units staffed by paid employees and not only by volunteers.
